UCEED reports a result as an All India Rank (AIR), not a percentile. This rank places every candidate against everyone else who appeared that year. Many other entrance exams instead show a result as a percentile score.
The UCEED-CEED Office at IIT Bombay conducts UCEED every year. It declares this rank individually to each candidate through portal login, not as a public list. For someone checking a UCEED 2027 result for the first time, this one distinction matters most: rank instead of percentile. It is the key to reading the scorecard correctly and understanding what happens next.
This page lays out the confirmed facts about the UCEED result: when it typically comes out, how UCEED calculates it, and what a candidate does after. For the full UCEED 2027 calendar around this result window, see the UCEED overview 2027 page. For the admit card window that comes before it, see the UCEED admit card page.

IIT Bombay hasn't fixed a result date for UCEED 2027 yet. It has confirmed only the exam date, 17 January 2027.
In the UCEED 2026 cycle, IIT Bombay declared results on 6 March 2026. That was roughly seven weeks after the 18 January 2026 exam. UCEED 2027 may follow a similar gap after its 17 January exam date. If so, early March 2027 is a reasonable expectation for the result. Treat this as a likely pattern, not a fixed date.
2027 result date not yet fixed
IIT Bombay hasn't announced the UCEED 2027 result date. The dates above are from the UCEED 2026 cycle. Treat them only as a reference point.
UCEED doesn't publish results as a public rank list anywhere. There's no roll-number search tool on the official site either. The only way to check a UCEED result is to log into the candidate portal individually. This is the same way a candidate checks an admit card.
This individual-login mechanism will likely continue for UCEED 2027. IIT Bombay has used it for every recent cycle, including 2026.
As with the admit card, there's no separate download link for the UCEED result outside the candidate portal. The portal generates scorecards only after a candidate logs in with registration credentials. It doesn't email them or host them anywhere else.
IIT Bombay's UCEED office keeps digital copies of scorecards for up to five years. That's useful for anyone who needs to produce their UCEED score again well after the exam year. It can help with admissions or scholarship purposes elsewhere.
Candidates use the same portal login to check the result. It's the same login used to download the UCEED 2027 admit card.
The headline figure on a UCEED scorecard is the All India Rank (AIR). This is the number that places a candidate against every other UCEED candidate that year. Admission and counselling both run on this rank, not on raw marks alone.
IIT Bombay's official results page doesn't spell out a full, itemised list of every other field on the scorecard. It doesn't say, for example, whether the scorecard breaks out sectional scores or category-wise rank separately. IIT Bombay simply hasn't published that level of layout detail on the official site. This page states that gap plainly, rather than guessing at an answer.
UCEED ranks every candidate by combined marks: Part-A (200 marks) plus Part-B (100 marks). These add up to a single score out of 300. The candidate with the highest combined score gets All India Rank 1. Every other rank follows in descending order from there.
When two or more candidates land on the exact same combined score, UCEED breaks the tie in a fixed order. UCEED compares Part-B marks first. If that's still tied, Part-A Section 2 marks decide it. If it's tied even after that, Part-A Section 1 marks settle it.
No percentile in UCEED
UCEED doesn't calculate or publish a percentile for any candidate. Admission runs entirely on All India Rank (AIR), decided by combined Part-A and Part-B marks.
This is worth contrasting with how percentile-based exams work. Many first-time UCEED candidates come in with that system already in mind. A percentile tells a candidate what share of test-takers they scored above. A 95 percentile, for example, means outscoring 95% of everyone else that year. This score can look identical across two different years, even when the raw scores weren't the same. A rank does no such normalising. It's a plain, direct position among that year's candidates. It moves with class size and that year's specific competition, not against a fixed scale.
For UCEED, the AIR is the only number that matters for admission. There's no percentile equivalent published or used anywhere in the process. No conversion table exists between the two, because IIT Bombay never designed UCEED to produce one.
No verified list of UCEED toppers, names or exact scores, turned up on IIT Bombay's official channels. This includes every recent cycle checked, including 2026. UCEED doesn't publish a public rank list or a toppers' list. Every candidate sees only their own result, through their own portal login.
The missing topper list is by design, not an oversight in how IIT Bombay built UCEED. IIT Bombay doesn't publish institute-wise and category-wise closing ranks either. A public toppers' list doesn't exist by the same logic. Any "UCEED topper" name or score found outside IIT Bombay's own site is worth treating with caution. The official source itself doesn't confirm it.
Once the UCEED 2027 result and AIR are out, the next step is counselling. UCEED runs its own counselling, separate from JoSAA, the body that handles B.Tech and B.Arch seats through JEE. The UCEED-CEED Office at IIT Bombay conducts a centralized counselling process directly. This covers B.Des seats at the institutes that accept the UCEED score for direct admission.
In the UCEED 2026 cycle, this ran across five rounds of seat allotment. These are tentative dates, since they shift a little each cycle. Candidates exercised freeze or float choices on any seat offered to them.

The UCEED 2027 colleges page carries the full list. How competitive a given AIR is for a specific institute or category depends on that year's closing ranks. IIT Bombay doesn't publish these as a public table. It discloses ranks to candidates individually. The UCEED 2027 cutoff page explains this mechanism in full. This includes the statistical shortlisting formula that decides who moves ahead for further consideration.
