UCEED splits its application fee into two bands, based on gender and reservation category, not income or class. A woman candidate pays the same discounted fee as an SC, ST or PwD candidate. Every other general-category candidate pays the higher rate.
This fee structure decides which number here applies to a given reader. IIT Bombay hasn't published the UCEED 2027 fee yet. The official site still shows the 2026 cycle's figures. So every figure below is the 2026 cycle's confirmed number, clearly labeled, until the 2027 brochure replaces it.
This tab covers everything about applying for UCEED 2027: fee, eligibility, documents and how the form itself works.
Three fee figures matter for UCEED's registration. All three still come from the 2026 cycle, the most recently published one.
Rs 2,000
Fee for women and SC/ST/PwD candidates
2026 cycle, most recent published; 2027 fee not yet announced

Rs 500
Late fee, on top of the base amount

UCEED 2027's own registration window is not announced yet, so this section stays short on purpose. The UCEED dates page carries the full schedule. It includes the 2026 cycle's reference dates for registration, admit card, result and counselling, each one labeled by cycle.
IIT Bombay has said the complete 2027 brochure, dates included, arrives by 1 October 2026.
UCEED sets its age eligibility differently by category. The 2026 cycle's exact cutoff dates are the only ones published so far.
Born on or after 1 October 2001 (2026 cycle). This date typically shifts forward each year, but IIT Bombay hasn't stated the exact 2027 cutoff yet.
Beyond age, two more rules apply. A candidate must be appearing in Class XII, or the equivalent, for the first time. This must happen in one of the two years right before the exam. In the 2026 cycle, that meant 2025 or 2026 only. A candidate who first appeared earlier was not eligible. UCEED 2027 would likely follow the same pattern and accept first-time 2026 or 2027 appearances. IIT Bombay hasn't published that exact wording for 2027 yet.
The last rule is fixed and unlikely to change. A candidate gets a maximum of two attempts at UCEED, in consecutive years. For how this fits into the exam's full eligibility picture, see the UCEED overview 2027.
UCEED's application happens entirely online. IIT Bombay's UCEED-CEED Office runs the whole cycle directly through its own candidate portal, not through a third-party vendor.
A candidate registers on the portal, fills in personal and academic details, and uploads the documents the brochure asks for. The candidate then pays the application fee to complete the form. IIT Bombay has not opened the 2027 portal yet, so screen-by-screen or field-by-field specifics for 2027 aren't published. This is the same pattern UCEED has followed each recent cycle, including 2026.
IIT Bombay hasn't announced the UCEED 2027 fee yet. This is the full 2026 cycle fee table, by category, gender and nationality. These are the most recently published figures available.
| Candidate category | Fee (2026 cycle) |
|---|---|
| Female candidates (all categories) | Rs 2,000 |
| SC / ST / PwD candidates | Rs 2,000 |
| All other Indian nationals (general) | Rs 4,000 |
| Foreign nationals, SAARC countries | US$200 |
| Foreign nationals, non-SAARC countries | US$250 |
| Late fee (on top of the base fee) | Rs 500 / US$50 |
A separate fee applies later, at the B.Des admission stage after results and counselling. This is Rs 4,000 flat, for every category and gender alike. That is a different payment from the UCEED exam application fee above. It is not announced for 2027 either.
Payment mode not published yet
IIT Bombay's brochure does not state the accepted payment mode outside the live application portal itself. This detail typically becomes visible only once the UCEED 2027 portal goes live.
The official UCEED brochure requires proof of age and proof of qualifying-exam status from every applicant. Both feed directly into the eligibility check. Beyond that general requirement, IIT Bombay has not published an itemized 2027 document list yet. This page will not guess at one.
Once the 2027 brochure is out, the exact list will sit on the official portal itself. It will likely include a birth-proof document and a Class XII admit card or equivalent.
Photo and signature specifications, such as file size, dimensions and background rules, were not confirmed by the research done for this page. No official 2026 or 2027 source stated exact pixel or file-size figures anywhere checked. This page will not guess at a number. Check the UCEED 2027 brochure once IIT Bombay releases it. Specifications like this typically appear only on the live application portal's upload screen.
UCEED 2027 doesn't have a published form-correction window yet, since the application itself hasn't opened. The closest reference point is the 2026 cycle's admit card correction window. It opened alongside admit card download and closed on 8 January 2026, 5:00 pm, through the candidate portal only.
Corrections go through the portal, not email
In the 2026 cycle, UCEED accepted discrepancy corrections only through the candidate portal, not by email. Expect the same portal-only rule for the 2027 cycle's correction window, whenever it opens.
See the UCEED 2027 admit card page for the full 2026-cycle correction timeline.
For the exact dates that go with this fee schedule, see UCEED 2027 dates. For the exam's full picture, start at the UCEED 2027 overview.

Not confirmed for 2027; the 2026 cycle's cutoff was 1 October 2001 or 1996, by category. Open, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates needed a birth date on or after 1 October 2001. SC, ST and PwD candidates needed 1 October 1996. This cutoff shifts forward most cycles, but IIT Bombay hasn't published the exact 2027 date yet.
