Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Global Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role involves leading the sales team, establishing key partnerships, and fostering customer relationships while aligning with MSM Unify’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for tech products such as LMS and AI-based solutions.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities in Higher Education, K12, corporate training, and government sectors.
  • Set and monitor revenue goals across regions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

 

2. Market Expansion and Business Development

  • Lead efforts to expand the organization’s footprint in existing and untapped markets.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with universities, schools, and corporate entities to drive market penetration.
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to specific regions and customer segments.

 

3. Solution-Based Selling

  • Drive a consultative sales approach, presenting tailored solutions that address client-specific challenges and goals.
  • Develop compelling value propositions that demonstrate the ROI and competitive advantage of the organization’s tech solutions.
  • Oversee the customization of products to meet client needs while maintaining scalability and profitability.

 

4. Leadership and Team Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing B2B sales team, providing mentorship, training, and career development opportunities.
  • Set clear performance expectations, establish KPIs, and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds targets.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity within the team.

5. Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers across target sectors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
  • Strengthen client loyalty through proactive engagement, effective problem-solving, and exceptional service delivery.

 

6. Sales Pipeline and Forecasting

  • Oversee the management of the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent tracking and progress toward quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Utilize CRM and analytics tools to forecast revenue and identify risks or opportunities in the sales cycle.
  • Ensure transparency and data-driven decision-making across all sales operations.

 

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to enhance product-market fit and adoption.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback with internal stakeholders to drive continuous product innovation.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to streamline contract negotiations and close deals efficiently.

 

8. Market Intelligence and Insights

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies in the education and training sectors.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and evolving customer needs. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to shape long-term business strategies.

 

9. Contract Negotiation and Renewals

  • Lead complex contract negotiations, securing long-term, mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Establish and maintain high Net Promoter Scores (NPS) by ensuring customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Drive contract renewals and upselling opportunities, maximizing lifetime value for each customer.

Location: Ghana

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in [industry relevant to MSM Unify].
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
