Job Overview 

The Manager, Sales Operations & Business Excellence, will be responsible for designing and  implementing global training programs, driving operational excellence, and enhancing team  performance. This role will support the sales, operations, and institutional partnership teams by  aligning training initiatives with organizational goals and fostering continuous learning. The ideal  candidate is skilled in training program development, coaching, and strategic analysis, with  expertise in integrating technology to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. 

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) 

1. Training Program Development and Implementation 

  • Design and deliver role-specific training programs tailored for global sales, operations, and  institutional partnership teams. 
  • Develop curricula focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, customer engagement  strategies, and technology adoption (e.g., CRM, LMS platforms). 
  • Utilize diverse training methods, including e-learning, classroom sessions, role-playing, and  simulations, to accommodate varied learning needs. 
  • Ensure training content aligns with organizational goals, partner expectations, and industry trends.

 

2. Onboarding New Employees 

  • Develop and implement a structured onboarding process for new hires across global teams.
  • Provide initial training on company policies, institutional partnership expectations, tech tools, and  industry knowledge. 
  • Collaborate with team managers to monitor onboarding progress and ensure smooth transitions  for new employees. 

 

3. Coaching and Development 

  • Provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance in recruitment, revenue generation, and  technology utilization. 
  • Monitor performance metrics, including lead conversion rates and client satisfaction, to identify  training needs. 
  • Conduct advanced workshops on institution partnerships, tech solutions, and relationship  management. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning through interactive coaching techniques.

 

4. Needs Assessment and Strategic Analysis 

  • Conduct regular training needs assessments using surveys, feedback sessions, and performance  data.
  • Work with department heads to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
  • Align training plans with organizational priorities, including revenue goals, market expansion, and  institutional partnerships. 

 

5. Evaluation and Continuous Improvement 

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and measurable outcomes.
  • Refine training programs based on market changes, evaluation results, and organizational needs.
  • Incorporate innovative methodologies, such as gamification or AI-driven learning tools, into  training initiatives. 

 

6. Collaboration and Communication 

  • Partner with sales and operations leaders to create specialized training aligned with business goals.
  • Act as a bridge between trainers, team leads, and senior leadership to align training initiatives.
  • Communicate training schedules, outcomes, and performance improvements to stakeholders  regularly. 

 

7. Administrative and Leadership Duties 

  • Manage the training budget to deliver cost-effective, impactful programs. 
  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, progress metrics, and outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor training staff and external facilitators to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements based on feedback and training insights. 

 

8. Technology Integration 

  • Ensure training addresses the use of organizational tools, such as CRM systems and LMS platforms.
  • Collaborate with the tech team for hands-on training on new product launches and updates.
  • Promote technology adoption to improve operational efficiency and align with business objectives. 

Qualifications and Skills 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree is  preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, training, or business excellence roles.
  •  Proven experience in designing and implementing global training programs.

Skills

  • Strong expertise in sales techniques, customer engagement, and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, LMS platforms, and analytics tools. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. 
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
