Language Program - Pre-sessional English - For IELTS 5 University of Westminster, UK

The Pre-sessional English 13 weeks (for IELTS 5) program at the University of Westminster is an intensive language course, designed for students who have been accepted into a degree course at Westminster or another English-speaking university. This program is particularly aimed at students who need to increase their IELTS score by 1.0 or who need to improve their English language skills before commencing their academic course. Throughout the 13 weeks, students will have the opportunity to develop all four language skills - reading, writing, speaking, and listening - but with a particular emphasis on academic writing and seminar/discussion skills. The course features up to 20 hours of tuition each week, including guided independent study, face to-face tutorials, and feedback sessions. By the end of the program, students will have improved their linguistic proficiency, expanded their academic vocabulary, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the expectations and requirements of studying in an English-speaking university environment. Students who successfully complete the program can progress to their planned undergraduate or postgraduate course of study.
