BA (Hons) Accounting with Finance University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth

The BA (Hons) Accounting with Finance program at the University of Portsmouth is a full-time course designed to equip students with the financial and management accounting skills necessary for business decision-making. The course offers a blend of theory and practice, ensuring students have a solid grounding in the principles of accounting along providing an understanding of financial management systems. It grants exemptions from professional examinations such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and AIA. Students undertake individual and group projects, work placements, and have the opportunity to study abroad. The program aims to develop finance professionals who are able to link the operational and strategic needs of their organisation with financial capabilities. Modules studied include financial accounting, management accounting, business law, corporation tax and finance risk management.
