The BSc (Hons) Architectural Engineering (University Foundation) program at NAVITAS University of Plymouth International College is an integrative course that fuses concepts from architecture and engineering. This course is designed to offer an academic route for learners to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to enter into the second year of the Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree. The program offers a comprehensive foundation in mathematics, science, and basic engineering principles, but with an emphasis on architectural design.

Throughout the course, students will be introduced to building physics, structures, construction methodologies, and computer aided design techniques in order to develop their understanding of the complexity of architectural engineering. The aim of the program is not only to impart knowledge, but also to cultivate creative and analytical skills in students.

The University Foundation program is also designed to help students improve their English language skills, if necessary, and get them accustomed to the British education system whilst helping them adjust to life in a different country. This program is perfect for international students who may need extra support as they adjust to the study and life experience in the UK.

Upon successful completion of the University Foundation, students will have developed a portfolio of work and have the required knowledge base to advance into the second year of the undergraduate course in Architectural Engineering.

UPIC is a pathway provider for University of Plymouth in Devon, UK. UPIC offers undergraduate pathways specifically for international students in a range of subjects including Business, Marketing, Law, Tourism, Engineering, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Health, Hospitality, Engineering and Computing.

UPIC is based on the campus of University of Plymouth and although students studying at UPIC are mostly taught separately from the other University students, they have full access to all facilities on campus, including the library and IT labs. The students are also often taught by lecturers who also teach at the University. Whilst studying with UPIC, students also receive extra support in the areas of English language and ICT.
