LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) The University of Law Southampton

The LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) program at the University of Law (Southampton) is an integrated program aimed at law graduates who intend to become solicitors. The Successful completion of the program leads to the award of a Master of Laws (LLM). This program is designed to cover Solicitors Qualification Examination (SQE) Stage 1 and 2, enabling graduates to pursue their journey to becoming a solicitor. The course includes a myriad of topics, such as Property Law and Practice, Dispute Resolution, Wills and the Administration of Estates, Business Law and Practice, to name a few. It ensures a practical learning approach through the use of workshops and live client interactions to hone the necessary skills. This Master’s qualification also incorporates solicitor training with various assessment methods, designed to aid the development of skills required for real-world legal practice. It provides a fantastic opportunity for students to gain a master's degree while also preparing to become a solicitor.
