Our LLB (Hons) Law with Business is a three year full-time degree. It will give you a wide understanding of key legal topics and related skills, as well as developing business skills and competencies. As well as enabling you to progress to the next stage of legal training as a solicitor or barrister, it’s also a great choice if you want to move into a career outside of the legal sector as you’ll study a range of business modules that will make you employment-ready. Studying our degree will also mean you are prepared in part for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE 1) or to progress onto our Bar Practice Course (if you wish to qualify as a barrister).

With our LLB Law with Business degree, you will gain valuable real-world skills and experience through your study and business-related work placements. Mock trials, law simulations and pro bono work will ensure you graduate with a practical understanding of law and business. You will learn valuable transferable skills that could help in various professional careers, such as in the finance, banking and legal sectors.

Bristol has workshop rooms that are made for interactive learning and lecture theatres that are small enough to mean that students are an active part of the learning experience and can easily interact with our tutors. Our library allows you to have access to online resources as well as access to all the law reports and reviews you’ll need.

Bristol have many opportunities to get involved in a rich sporting and social life at The University of Law Bristol and you even have the option to start a society yourself or take part in activities such as negotiation or mooting competitions. The campus has a café and break out area which is a great space to hang out with friends and grab a coffee between classes.

Local firms regularly visit our Bristol campus to give talks explaining their recruitment cycles and what they are looking for from future trainees.
