Associate of Science Degree - Computer Science Pathway Vancouver Community College (VCC)

The Associate of Science degree - computer science pathway provides two years of undergraduate university level courses, equivalent to the first two years of a four-year bachelor's degree in computer science. The goal is to provide an academic educational foundation that enables students to continue their studies towards degree completion. This program will provide a provincial credential widely recognized by many post-secondary institutions in the British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT). Students who successfully complete the Associate of Science degree have an increased likelihood of being admitted into third year courses at the transfer institution. Students are strongly advised to check the admissions policy of the institution to which they would like to transfer, and to find out if there are additional criteria they must meet for specific program areas. A minimum Associate degree GPA may be required.
