As an overseas student who wishes to study and work abroad in an English-speaking country, you will be required to brush up on your English language proficiency, especially if you are not very fluent in the language. ELICOS, or the English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students, is a set of courses that are delivered to overseas students studying in Australia on a student visa. IHM’s comprehensive ELICOS General English course (a part of the ELICOS program) is a good starting point if you wish to improve your English language capabilities for work, study, or social purposes. General English is well suited to both short-term students (such as backpackers and tourists) and long-term students (intending to complete further study or those taking a gap year).
