Diploma in Aviation - Instrument Rating Basair Australia Pty Ltd Australia - Bankstown

This option of the Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) is designed for students who already hold a Commercial Pilot Licence.

The course is designed to prepare students for their first job in aviation; either as a Charter Pilot or a First Officer in an airline.

Local students enrolled in either course may be eligible for VET FEE HELP funding.

Overseas students enrolled in the course may be eligible for a student visa.

This course lasts for 20 weeks.

At the end of the course, successful students will be awarded a Diploma of Aviation, and will qualify for a CASA ME CIR assessment.

It is a full time course with compulsory attendance from Monday to Friday, and there are no scheduled holidays during the course. Extra attendance may be required, depending on weather.

As one of the few 142 approved training organisations in the country, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority allows Basair to train pilots to a commercial standard in only 150 hrs of flight, as opposed to 200 hrs usually required. That is, due to the quality of our training, CASA says we can get you to commercial standard 25% faster than other schools
