Swinburne Scholarship Program Supports Young Women to Pursue STEM Education

Avanade, a global technology company, has expanded its partnership with the Swinburne University of Technology to provide two extra scholarships for first-year students through the Avanade Women in STEM Scholarship program.

Student applications are now being accepted for the scholarship program, which will close on Mar. 31, 2022. Female students participating in an appropriate engineering, scientific, computer science, or information technology course are encouraged to apply.

Four Swinburne students from the inaugural scholarship intake in 2020 are still benefiting from the program, which offers AU$5,000 per year in financial support over four years, as well as internship opportunities, career coaching, and mentoring from Avanade Australia.
