AIMS has published five full-length ATMA question papers on its website, all from 2021. They are the 14 February, 25 April, 30 May, 26 July and 7 September 2021 papers. AIMS also keeps older papers from 2013, 2015 and 2017 as archive files. Each paper below has a download link. You will also see where each answer key sits and how these papers differ from the current test.
No official paper after 7 September 2021
The AIMS list of previous question papers ended with the 7 September 2021 paper when we checked on 26 September 2026. A paper labelled 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 on another website is not on that list, so treat it as unofficial. One 2026 question paper we opened has only 50 quantitative questions, and its own page calls it a practice set.

Their file names carry June and July 2013, February, March and May 2015, and February 2017 dates (Source: AIMS ATMA website, checked 26 September 2026).

The 7 September 2021 file did not open when we checked on 26 September 2026. If it does not open for you, use the Previous Question Papers link on the AIMS home page.
AIMS keeps its older ATMA papers on the same list as archive files, and PDF copies of the 2015 and 2017 booklets are also available from Collegedunia. The dates in the table come from the AIMS file names, except where the host page gives its own date.
| Paper | AIMS archive (RAR or ZIP) | PDF copy |

| February 2017 | Sample Question Paper 11 | Set A, 12 February 2017 and Set B |
| May 2015 | Sample Question Paper 10 | Not found |
| March 2015 | Sample Question Paper 9 | Set A, 1 March 2015, Set B, Set C and Set D |
| February 2015 | Sample Question Paper 8 | Not found |
| July 2013 | Sample Question Paper 7 | Not found |
| June 2013 | Sample Question Paper 6 | Not found |
The PDF copies open without a login, and each set has 180 questions with 0.25 negative marking for a wrong answer. Our checker could not open the AIMS archive files, so unzip one and check its contents before you rely on it. AIMS also lists Sample Question Papers 1 to 5 in the same way, and paper 5 is marked "With Answer".
Open atmaaims.com and click Previous Question Papers with Answers under For Applicants. A pop-up then lists every paper, and each name is a download link.
The latest official ATMA question paper on the AIMS list is the 7 September 2021 paper. If that link does not open for you, the 26 July 2021 paper is the latest one that opened when we checked. It is a full 180-question paper with the answer key on its last page.
No, AIMS has not published an ATMA question paper for any 2026 session. The 2026 sessions did take place, and you can see their dates on the ATMA exam date 2026 page. A file called "ATMA 2026 question paper" on another website did not come from the AIMS list.

| ATMA 25 April |
The official ATMA papers come with answer keys but not with worked solutions. The answer keys we checked list the correct option only. Each file keeps its key in a different place, as the table above shows.
In the 25 April 2021 answer key, question 85 shows Nullified instead of an option. The file does not explain how AIMS treated that question in scoring. Leave question 85 out when you check your own practice score.
Add 1 mark for every correct answer and subtract 0.25 mark for every wrong answer. A question you leave blank gets zero. Four wrong answers cancel one correct answer (Source: ATMA Bulletin 2026).
For example, take 120 correct, 40 wrong and 20 unattempted questions. The score is 120 minus 10, which is 110 out of 180. This is your raw practice score. It is not an ATMA percentile.
Every official 2021 paper has 180 questions in six sections of 30 questions each (Source: ATMA 30 May 2021 paper and ATMA 25 April 2021 paper). Each correct answer gets 1 mark and each wrong answer loses 0.25 mark.
| Section | Question numbers | Questions |
|---|---|---|
| Analytical Reasoning Skills Part A | 1 to 30 | 30 |
| Analytical Reasoning Skills Part B | 31 to 60 | 30 |
| Quantitative Skills Part A | 61 to 90 | 30 |
| Quantitative Skills Part B | 91 to 120 | 30 |
| Verbal Skills Part A | 121 to 150 | 30 |
| Verbal Skills Part B | 151 to 180 | 30 |
The ATMA question paper tests reasoning, quantitative and verbal skills through multiple-choice questions. The 25 April 2021 paper shows the range well.
Match each of these question types to a topic in the ATMA exam 2026 overview before you start a paper. That way, every wrong answer points to a topic you can revise.
The 2021 papers match the current ATMA test on the number of questions and the marking scheme. They differ on section order and on how time is shown. The table compares the 2021 papers with the ATMA Bulletin 2026 (Source: ATMA Bulletin 2026).
| Feature | 2021 papers | ATMA Bulletin 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Questions | 180 | 180 |
| Marking | +1 correct, -0.25 wrong | +1 correct, -0.25 wrong |
| Section order | Analytical Reasoning A and B, then Quantitative A and B, then Verbal A and B | Analytical Reasoning, Verbal, Quantitative, then the same three again |
| Time | 180 minutes for the whole test in the general instructions | 30 minutes for each section, 180 minutes in total |
| Attempt order | The 14 February 2021 file says to attempt Section 1 first, then Section 2 and so on | Sections need not be attempted in serial order |
Do not copy the 2021 section order
The ATMA Bulletin 2026 says the actual test may not follow the section sequence shown in its own table. Practise each section in a 30-minute block, not in the order printed in the 2021 files.
AIMS names its 2021 papers by exam date, with one paper for each session. Use the details below to pick the right file for your practice.
The file is titled Offline QP on the AIMS site and runs 24 pages. The correct option is underlined and bold inside each question, so there is no separate key table. Use it to study answers, not as a timed test.
The file runs 54 pages. The answer key is a table at the end. Question 85 shows Nullified in that table.
The answer key is a table at the end of the file. It includes some questions on bar graphs and tables.
The file runs 30 pages, and the last page is titled Answer Keys. It lists the correct option for all 180 questions.
AIMS lists this file as a paper with answers. It did not open when we checked on 26 September 2026, so we could not confirm its contents.
The older papers are useful only as extra practice after you finish the five 2021 papers. The 2015 and 2017 booklets were written tests. Their instructions ask you to mark answers on an OMR answer booklet with a pencil, so the format differs from the current online test. Check the section structure inside each file before you use it for timed practice.
Use papers from other websites only for extra practice, because AIMS did not set them. Before you use one, check three things. The paper should name its source. It should have 180 questions in six sections of 30. Its answer key should match the questions. A paper that fails any of these checks is not a good guide to the real test.
AIMS lists sample papers 1 to 11 on the same page as the 2021 papers. Sample papers 1 to 4 are listed without answers. Sample papers 5 to 11 are listed as "With Answer" (Source: AIMS ATMA website, checked 26 September 2026).
The AIMS home page also links to Sample Tests. The ATMA Bulletin 2026 says these sample tests give a broad idea of the nature of the test. Check the sample test link on the AIMS site before you plan your practice around it.
Many coaching and portal websites also publish their own sample papers with solutions. Those papers are written by the website and not by AIMS. They can help with extra practice, but they cannot tell you what AIMS will ask.
A real ATMA question paper shows you how much time 30 questions actually take. That is the main reason to solve one. It also gives you four other benefits.
Solve one paper at a time in three stages. First solve without a timer, then solve section by section with a timer, and finally take a full test. Use the plan below with the papers you can download today.
Paper 1
25 April 2021, without a timer
Solve section by section and read every wrong answer. Learn the question types before you race the clock.
Paper 2
30 May 2021, 30 minutes per section
Give each section exactly 30 minutes. Stop when the time ends, even if questions are left.
Paper 3
26 July 2021, full test
Take all 180 questions in 180 minutes. Attempt the sections in this order: Analytical Reasoning, Verbal, Quantitative, then the same three again.
Paper 4
7 September 2021, second full test
Use it if the AIMS link opens. If it does not, repeat Paper 3 with a fresh section order.
Study paper
14 February 2021, review only
The correct options are marked inside the file. Read the answers and the question logic instead of using it as a test.
Extra practice
2015 and 2017 booklets
Solve one of these written-test booklets untimed after you finish the 2021 papers. Do not use them to judge your timing.
Draw the arrangement before you read the options. Each question gets about one minute on average, so mark a question that crosses two minutes and come back to it.
List every wrong answer, every slow question and every guess in a notebook. Write the topic next to each one. Then revise those topics from the ATMA exam syllabus 2026 before you attempt the next paper. A paper is finished only when you have understood each mistake.
Keep your test dates in mind while you plan. The ATMA exam registration 2026 page lists the fee and the last dates for each session.
Answers to what readers ask most often.
You can download the official ATMA previous year question papers from the AIMS website, atmaaims.com, under Previous Question Papers with Answers in the For Applicants list. The list has five full 2021 papers in PDF format and 11 older sample papers from 2013 to 2017 in archive files. Source: AIMS ATMA website, checked 26 September 2026.
No, AIMS has not published an ATMA question paper for any 2026 session. The AIMS list of previous question papers ended with the 7 September 2021 paper when we checked on 26 September 2026. Papers labelled 2026 on other websites are not on that list. Source: AIMS ATMA website.
The latest official ATMA question paper on the AIMS list is the 7 September 2021 paper. Its file did not open when we checked on 26 September 2026, so the 26 July 2021 paper is the latest one we could open. Source: AIMS ATMA website.
Yes, the official 2021 ATMA papers come with answer keys. The 14 February 2021 file underlines the correct option inside the paper. The April, May and July 2021 files carry the key at the end. The keys give the correct option only, not worked solutions. Source: AIMS ATMA website.
