Arts

Overview

A degree in the Arts would typically fall under two categories: Fine Arts or Media Arts. In Fine Arts, students will study fields such as theatre, sculpture, painting, film, dance, and other forms of visual arts. Media Arts will focus more on commercial arts like graphic design and interior design.

Students will receive both theoretical and practical knowledge and instruction. The program will cover a broad base with opportunities for specialization or concentration down the line.

A bachelor’s degree in the Arts will introduce the student to the history of art, the evolution of art, theories, and composition, among other things.

They will learn different disciplines and techniques on how they can best bring their creative ideas to life. Surrounded by similarly creative souls, they will be encouraged and inspired to dive into their creative side.

If you are passionate about art and want to nurture it into a career, getting a degree in Arts and gaining formal education can expand your knowledge and network.
