Agriculture and Forestry
Overview

Agriculture and Forestry is highly interdisciplinary, and students are required to have a strong foundation in the natural and social sciences and apply their knowledge to farming and crop management. Major areas to focus on are Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Business and Management.

Those with a degree in Agriculture and Forestry are responsible for the daily planning, organization, supervision, budgeting, and marketing on livestock, farm property, and equipment. Most students who pursue this interdisciplinary degree are inclined to protect nature, manage crops and farms, and market agricultural products.

If you want to have a degree that allows you to connect with nature while ensuring the livestock and entire farm property is in good condition, Agriculture and Forestry is the right one for you. In the entire course of study, you will learn about soil analysis, environmental management, forest dynamics, animal care, ecology, research methods, statistics, finance and technology. You will be able to use all of these to broaden and strengthen your understanding of the farm and forests. As you advance into the degree, you can choose your focus on the areas that bring out the best in you for your career. Having a Bachelor’s or post graduate program in Agriculture and Forestry will open up many career opportunities. You can specialize in Agronomy, Horticulture, Soil Science, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Pathology and more.
